How To Get Instagram Followers Using Your Competitors

A few weeks ago, I flew to my hometown of Vancouver, BC and worked with the crew to create brand new (and free!) Instagram training for you. But it must work since it is not the first time I see this advice to increase Instagram followers. Not only does this build community by showing your followers that you appreciate their photos, but it also gives you content for your own account. Some businesses have also seen success with posting at 2:00 a.m., 5:00 p.m., and Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. Experiment with these to see if they work with your audience.

The way I'd do that is by engaging (by liking or commenting or replying to stories) to the people who are active on the posts from accounts of list one. And if they like the posts on your profile, they might choose to follow you. A mediocre profile with 1 million followers, a verified badge and lots of engagement will do a million times better than a profile with stunningly unique content that has 100 followers and poor engagement.

One of the key ways to grow your Instagram following is to post high-quality content that your followers like and would engage with. As Instagram has achieved number 2 spot on the list of most active social media platform after Facebook; many people have started using Instagram for showcasing their photos and videos to become famous, be it a model or a social media star.

Unfortunately, the days of just tossing a few hashtags in and going about our business are behind us. With stories and a surge in users, getting followers on Instagram ain't what it used to be. You can't just shout into the night and expect people to find you, much less follow you.

The engagement rates for these brands on 6 of the 7 social networks studied, was less than 0.1%. On that one network, Instagram, posts generated a per-follower engagement rate of 4.21% which is 58 times more engagement per-follower than Facebook, and 120 times more engagement per-follower than Twitter.

People are more likely to engage with you if they view your Instagram account as a two-way street. There are some great tools out there using AI technology to help grow your Instagram Engagement (likes, views, followers & comments). While traditional media brands have dropped like flies, NatGeo has thrived across digital and become one of the top brands on Instagram, with over 50 million followers.

Imagine the following situation: you have just discovered an artist on Instagram, but he only has 7 followers. Babies4Babies grew their following, but they also had very strong connections with the followers they had because Kate had made them a part of her life - which ultimately instagram followers made a connection to her business.

Destination Canada directed their Facebook audience to their Instagram account with four teaser photos from an Instagram influencer. Instagram's own Layout app ( iOS and Android ) allows you to create collages, helping your photos stand out in a crowd. This method is also known as follow4follow (follow 4 follow or follow for follow) and it is proven as the fastest, safest way to get free followers on Instagram.

Sure, it can get you a few followers here and there, but ain't nobody got time for that. If you schedule posts through Later , you can use the saved captions ” feature to group your hashtags by category so they're always handy when you need them. There are more metrics when it comes to Instagram than just followers.

You can easily leverage your other social networks to direct users to your Instagram. Develop a distinct style with your photos, and a distinct voice with your comments, so that when people see your posts, they will instantly recognize them as yours. This is a surefire strategy for sending your engagement through the roof; not to mention all the new followers you'll receive.

The game has changed, and if you want to get Instagram followers in 2018, you're going to need a fresh approach and strategy. If someone follows you back and likes, comments and shares your content on a regular basis, give it back to them occasionally. It just depends on who you know, like how big your network is and what you can offer these huge accounts in return to create a mutually beneficial business relationship.
